SUPPORT ZEFAT ACADEMIC
COLLEGE (ZAC)
Zefat Academic College is a rapidly growing public college located at the
gateway to the historic city of Zefat. The College, originally an extension of
Bar-Ilan University, was granted independent accreditation by Israel’s Council
of Higher Education in 2007.
Today, over 2,900 students are enrolled in the College’s baccalaureate programs
in health sciences, law, the humanities and the social sciences.
Zefat Academic College is a multicultural academic institution and an
anchor for the cultural and economic development of the city of Zefat and the
Galilee region.
Donations to the College mean support and partnership that are
fundamental for achieving the important goal of making higher education
accessible to everyone, regardless of religion, gender or economic status.
The College is a public institution, therefore donors in Israel are
entitled to an income tax credit – according to section 46 A of the Income Tax
Ordinance in Israel (Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance states that a
person who has donated to a public institution or a number of public
institutions over 180 NIS, as of 2018-2016, and 190 NIS previously, is entitled
to an income tax credit for that year).
