One Central Point for Lone Soldiers
Growing Wings supports Lone Soldiers before, during, and after their service.
We provide and coordinate direct assistance for essential needs, including housing, food, furniture, access to mental health and wellbeing support, rights and benefits, bureaucracy, community, education, and employment guidance.
We also serve as a transition and navigation support system. We help Lone Soldiers understand which organizations, programs, services, systems and opportunities are available to them. We identify the right resources, make the necessary connections and help each person move successfully into the next stage of life.
Growing Wings Israel is the connective thread. We help Lone Soldiers navigate complex systems, access existing resources and receive direct support when essential needs would otherwise go unmet.
