The KEMACH Foundation enables promising young Haredi students to acquire academic qualifications so that they can play an active role in Israeli society. These students are unable to support their young families while they study, with no income. Kemach is forced to turn away thousands of applicants every year due to a lack of funds. In 2019, of the 6445 Haredi applicants reviewed by KEMACH, we had to turn away over 2,000 due to a lack of funding.
